GPP member company under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders wins AED 10 million contract

Access Engineering Consultancy, member of Government Procurement Program (GPP) under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, has signed a contract valued at AED 10 million with the Union Cooperative Society to build labour camp at Al Quoz area in Dubai.

Mr. Khalid Al Falasi, Director General of the Union Cooperative Society said: 'Small and Medium companies have always been one of the major catalysts for economic development around the world. Selecting Access Engineering Consultancy to manage this construction project was inspired by our belief that emerging national projects should be given an opportunity to contribute to the nation's development'.
Access Engineering Consultancy (AEC), will carry out construction works as well facility management.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Ali Al Shafar, Manager, at the Government Procurement Program said: 'We are pleased at the level of trust shown by key national organizations in the capabilities of our member companies, especially when this trust translates into actual cooperation on important projects.'

'Such trust will motivate the new generation of local entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and will help them to increase their contribution to the economic advancement of our country,' he added.

Access Engineering Consultancy covers a wide range of activities including: Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Monument Restoration, City Planning, Environment Engineering, Foundations, Earth Mechanics, Airports Water Supply and Sewage Networks, plus designing and building Tunnels and Bridges.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders was launched on June 12, 2002 as the first initiative of the Dubai Development and Investment Authority.
