Union Land Development inaugurates 2006 with a strong beginning

Ramzi Salfity, General Manager of Union Land Development Company (ULD), announced today that the company has entered a transitory phase with an expansion the company's activities and an increasing number of major projects taking place this Summer, moving the company towards becoming the national leader in urban development industry in the Kingdom.

Salfity stated "ULD now is moving into a new phase. We will shortly be launching our new corporate identity which will reflect our ambition of innovation and modernity and our continuous perseverance to achieve our objectives."

ULD, in raising its capital to JD45 million last October, is now executing multiple residential and commercial projects such as the company's new headquarter between the seventh and the eighth circle , Um Uthainah commercial building with a construction cost of JD1million, Abdoun Residential Building consisting of 14 apartments built on a total area of 8,200mē and with a total construction cost of JD2million, and numerous other projects. ULD is in the latest stages of finalizing the designs of prospective projects, amongst which are the Abdoun Residential Complex, to be built on a 10,000 mē of land and comprising six semi-detached villas in addition to two blocks of flats with a total construction cost of JD2.3 million ;in addition to Um Al Amad project ,and Zara complex which consists of 50 chalets . Other projects in the pipeline will be announced shortly.

ULD, the result of a merger between Jordan Gulf Company for Real Estate Investments and Petra for Projects and Equipment Rentals, has also successfully executed the Aqaba Commercial Center , the center was strategically built on the outskirts of the city of Aqaba en-route to the center of town with a total built up area of 12,600mē.

Salfity clarified that ULD is establishing a post sales service department and constructing a new modern website to serve all interested parties. Also stated that ULD has committed to continue investing in the employment hiring and training of intelligent, ambitious and skilled Jordanian professionals that will strive to plan, develop and build diverse enduring projects, synonymous with quality and creativity in a safe environmental friendly and cost effective manner in order for the community to thrive, and to constantly contribute in building the national economy.

Salfity concluded that "Our aim is to be a leader and a pioneer in our land development diversity, and build up our beloved Jordan as we tailor our projects to meet all needs". He also stated "We invite all interested parties to visit us in the "Property and Real Estate Investment Exhibition" that will take place on May 2nd in the "Royal" hotels, to be more introduced to ULD and its services and activities".
