Dr Saeed Abdulla Salman, President of AUST, signed on behalf of the university, while Dr. Mohammed Abu Ghazala signed on behalf of the Royal Aviation Academy-Jordan (RAAJ). The agreement was signed at the scientific conference held by AUST Network's Faculty of Engineering.
'The agreement allows AUST Network students of Electrical Engineering to be trained at the Royal Aviation Academy,' said Dr Saeed Salman. 'This is just the beginning of many mutual cooperative initiatives in the field of science and technology. We appreciate the assistance of the Royal Academy, who didn't hesitate to accept our students.'
'As a pioneer Arab educational institution, we would like to broadcast our message of serving the nation by cooperating with the most prestigious educational institutions in the Arab world,' said Dr Salman.
The training is open for students who have completed 100 credit hours, and the selected students will spend 60 days to complete 240 credit training hours in the Academy. Dr Fahar Hayatti, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, said, 'The agreement will have a positive effect on the entire educational process in the Faculty of Engineering.'
Dr Fahar added, 'We are also planning to broaden the agreement to include exchanging the teaching staff in both institutions, and also to establish projects and exchange expertise and experience.'
AUST Network signs cooperation deal with Jordan Royal Aviation Academy
Ajman University of Science and Technology Network has signed a scientific and training cooperation agreement with Jordan Royal Aviation Academy.
