A specialist in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, Gauri has considerable experience in project finance, private power generation projects and infrastructure projects. She is also head of Denton Wilde Sapte's India Group and is recognised as a leading authority on Indian business.

"India has Dubai's largest expatriate population and the two countries share extremely close business ties, something which is reflected through the significant number of Indian businesses and high volume of Indian investment within this market,"

says Denton Wilde Sapte's Gulf Managing Partner Neil Cuthbert.

"I have personally worked with Gauri on a number of Indian projects over many years and she has an extensive network within the Indian business community. Her relocation to our Dubai office will enable us to capture new business opportunities both here in Dubai and across the broader Middle East region."

Denton Wilde Sapte is the largest law firm in the Middle East with 70 international and Arabic lawyers and a network of offices spanning Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Cairo. Its main Dubai office - the firm also has an office in Dubai Internet City - has 26 lawyers, including 8 partners, and specialises primarily in projects, energy and finance.
