New products, engine variants and class leading features tipped to widen Volvo Cars' appeal in the region.

Ramzy, who has nearly a decade of sales experience in the premium automotive segment in the Middle East, has been a member of the Volvo Importer network since 2001. Moving to the Middle East hub office, he will oversee the Volvo Cars sales process in the GCC countries, Egypt, Jordan and Syria.

"In the last few years we have been witnessing steady growth year on year, with products like the XC90 and All-new S40 really adding volume and attracting new Volvo fans in the Middle East,"
commented Greg Maruszewski, Regional Managing Director, Volvo Cars Middle East.

"With the arrival of the All-new C70 Convertible, and the All-new S80 this year, the latter with our V8 engine, we are expecting to significantly broaden our appeal to car buyers across the premium segment. Ramez's appointment is part of our strategy to continuously strengthen the support we provide our Importers as volume increases. As someone who has extensive experience Importer side, we feel he is perfectly equipped to ensure that the Volvo ownership experience continues to global standards as we enter a period of rapid growth," he added.
