Safeguarding individuals' information from unauthorized access, biometrics security products use retinal scans, fingerprint scans and voice recognition, to access secure networks. HP has led the way in mobile security, introducing the industry's first handheld to integrate biometrics security, wireless LAN network access and Bluetooth wireless capability in 2002. Since then, HP's innovation in wireless biometric solutions has continued with the latest generation of products, showcased at the Identity Summit, providing anytime, anywhere computing in a highly secure environment.
"HP continues to drive the future of computing with innovative mobile PCs and handhelds that connect people and businesses with their critical information in a secure environment,"
said Hanan Kamal, Marketing Manager, Personal Systems Group and SMB, HP Middle East.
"During the Identity Summit, we will be demonstrating the latest technology behind biometrics security in order to help companies in the region improve business efficiency via mobility, without compromising security. The products showcased at the show utilize the biometrics features which in the future will become a standard in personal information privacy," added Kamal.
Visitors to the show will be able to attend demonstrations of the HP Compaq nx6125 notebook, the HP iPAQ hx2790 and iPAQ hw6515, as well as take advantage on special show discounts. The HP Compaq nx6125 laptop and HP iPAQ hx2790 are both equipped with biometric finger print readers that improve safety and security and void the use of the hack-prone traditional typed password.
