FIFA World Cup range and Sudoku launch at Toy Fair Middle East 2006

The toy market is constantly evolving; development in technologies and the vast amount of new and creative ideas is helping to fuel the growth in demand for new products. Within the Arabian Gulf States 50% of the national population are under 16 years old; the forthcoming Toy Fair Middle East will help manufacturers and suppliers bring the latest products to this large and growing market.

The Toy Fair is the largest of its kind within the region, and will take place at The Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 22nd - 24th May 2006.

There are a broad range of exhibitors at the Toy Fair Middle East: Dubai Based Stag International, distributors of toys, stationery, licensed merchandise household and apparel, will be returning to the Toy Fair ME in 2006, their range includes the latest "must haves". This year's new lines, to be released within the Middle East, include Barcode Kitties, Pucca and most significantly, their range of FIFA World Cup products including balls; apparel and stationery, exclusive to Stag. The merchandise features products with both Iranian and Saudi Arabian teams, both of whom qualified for the finals. In addition, the stationery range has been widened to include the latest Disney Property Cars, hot girls lines like Bratz and Barbie, teenage products such as Everlast, Ducati, Ferrari and Lois and latest movies including Spiderman and Garfield.

Arabic Triangle Trading, the UAE office of the Al Arab Group, will also be exhibiting at this years show. Al Arab Group also have an office in Egypt and are developing their operations to include a branch office in Saudi Arabia, giving them stonger presence within the Middle East. Their product line focuses mainly on Barbie and Disney; and the ranges include toys, accessories, footwear, apparel and beach towels. They have just added New Bright, the leaders in the battery operated toys and radio controlled products, to their range. New Bright offer the official licensed products of Chrysler, Dodge Different, Ford, Chevy and Versus Ltd. in

Impact Service and Trading FZ -LLC, will be presenting at Toy Fair Middle East the world premiere of the SUDOKU 3D cube, Arabic version. The Suduko 3D cube is already phenomenally successful throughout Germany, Holland and the USA. The game originated in Japan, when in 1984 the Magazine publisher Nokoli published the riddle. In 2004 the riddle came to the attention of the British newspaper 'The Times' and days later under the pseudo name of Codename in 'The Daily Mail. Since, Sudoku belongs to numerous riddle pages in various publications. Sudoku 3D, which is available in 5 colours, is not that dissimilar to the Rubics Cube, the difference being you have digits instead of colours. Demonstrations of this mind-boggling game can be seen at The Toy Middle East 2006.

Set to be an exciting innovative event The Middle East Toy Fair, which runs in parallel with another Messe Frankfurt trade show Housewares and Homestyles is estimated to attract in excess of 6500 visitors from within and around the region.
