Having worked with Switzerland's national carrier for more than 30 years, in a career that has covered four continents, Rodel will be responsible for sales and marketing, administration and personnel covering the Middle East and Africa.
Felix Rodel brings with him an intimate understanding of the airline industry, as well as the SWISS brand. His expertise and knowledge make him ideally suited for this new role.
Fluent in German, English and French, with a basic knowledge of Russian, Rodel first moved to the Middle East in September 2000 and has been responsible for maintaining high seat load factors on SWISS routes from the region.
Rodel's promotion comes when SWISS is nearing completion of its integration into the Lufthansa Group, and a streamlining of both airlines operations in the region, and around the world.
