Philips launch new Digital Photo Display

Philips Consumer Electronics announced today the launch of a new product that will revolutionize digital photography forever.
"Research carried out by Philips has shown that although digital cameras have been widely accepted as the future of quality photography, many people still feel that their photos get stuck in a PC prison, never to see the light of day again," commented Khalid Tuer, General Manager for Philips Consumer Electronics, Middle East &Africa. "It's all very well to record the memories, but if you haven't got anything to show for it, what's the point?" added Mr. Tuer.
Features include:
- High definition (133 ppi) panel to display images in full colour and print-like quality
- Displays single photos, thumbnails or slideshows
- Capacity for storing up to 50 top quality digital photos at a time
- Elegant 'table-top' design which fits in with the décor
- Timer function for automatically turning on and off display at preset times
- Adjustable brightness to match ambient light conditions
- Operates on AC power or cordless with rechargeable battery
