New head of Dnata Agencies to steer future growth

Iain Andrew, who has held senior management positions with some of the UK's leading names in travel and airlines, has been appointed head of Dnata Agencies to steer the future growth of the Middle East travel industry's market leader.
At Dnata, he is responsible for developing and diversifying the company's wide-ranging involvement in every aspect of the travel industry, from retail travel through to IT development.
Gary Chapman, President, Emirates Group Services & Dnata, said: "Iain has strong strategic and change management skills, in addition to outstanding leadership abilities that have enabled him to successfully lead large teams and businesses."
Mr. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master's Degree in IT & Management. He said: "I look forward to the challenges and opportunities involved in developing Dnata's considerable potential for growth."
Dubai-based Dnata sources, supplies, distributes and promotes the best travel products from around the world, making them easily accessible to the travel trade in the UAE and through selected travel agency partners.
Dnata's success lies in an extensive network of partnerships that allows it to provide comprehensive tailor-made solutions to meet the travel demands of both the travel trade and public. Dnata has expanded its operations to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and is currently eyeing more regional outlets.
