TECOM holds open day for graduate nationals to explore career opportunities

TECOM Investments this week held an Open Day event for UAE national graduates to help them explore career opportunities in the organization.
The students also had a chance to explore openings in TECOM's support departments like Quality, Customer Service, Human Capital (HR), Corporate Communications, IT, Corporate Sustainability, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and Strategy and Business Development (SBD).
The Open Day was part of TECOM's Emiratisation programme under which it seeks to identify and foster exceptional UAE National talent. TECOM is offering 30 graduate trainee positions for UAE Nationals this year.
"TECOM's Emiratisation strategy aims to identify skilled UAE national graduates and develop them so that they can contribute to the growth of the UAE's knowledge-based economy. Our focus will be on equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to take on more challenging roles. TECOM offers exciting opportunities for bright young nationals who are keen to work in an organization that is at the forefront of the UAE's economic aspirations," said Nasser Al Awadhi, Director of Human Capital at TECOM.
"An increasing number of Emirati university students are looking for career opportunities in high-value sectors of the economy. This event was a great opportunity for us to explain to them the benefits and excitement of working in knowledge-based organisations like ours," added Al Awadhi.
Students also had the chance to attend a mock interview and a focused Q&A session with senior managers of TECOM. Over xxxx students from xx universities participated in the Open Day Event
