"Those who are currently implementing major construction works or even just a simple home renovation project will find everything they need at Interiors & Buildex,"
said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the company organising the event.
The exhibition is open to trade visitors and the general public from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and then from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Paul pointed out that industry professionals should not miss the exhibition because it showcases a range of new products with features that make them particularly suited for use in the sultanate.
These products, many of which are being introduced for the first time in the local market, include artificial grass, advanced models of air conditioners, the latest trends in luxury bathrooms, innovative scaffolding equipment, natural stones, wall panels, and door accessories. Interiors & Buildex 2006 also features waterproofing products, tempered glass, marble and tiles, aluminium products, heat control films, and door phone systems.
Many local companies representing various sectors in the building and construction industry in Oman have a major presence in the exhibition to effectively promote the products and services they offer. New products are also on display with the participation of exhibitors from Austria, Brunei, Italy, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Turkey, Egypt, New Zealand, the UK, and the UAE.
Interiors & Buildex 2006 is co-sponsored by V-Kool Oman and supported by the Caledonian College of Engineering, the Oman Society of Engineers, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and Consorzio Nuovi Mercati of Italy. The Times of Oman and Al Shabiba are the official newspapers of the event.
