PWC Logistics to streamline Domino's Pizza supply chain

PWC Logistics UAE has been selected by Specialized Catering Services Establishment to provide warehousing, distribution and freight management support in the GCC and Levant region.

Specialized Catering Services Establishment is the master franchisee of Domino's Pizza for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.

According to the agreement, PWC Logistics will provide Specialized Catering Services Establishment with temperature controlled supply chain services for Domino's Pizza in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Lebanon to be followed by other countries where these services are required.

Ibrahim Al-Jammaz, Managing Director of Specialized Catering Services Establishment explained: "We are committed to fulfilling and exceeding customer service requirements, an approach that is of vital importance in the food industry. By creating a centralized order fulfillment centre, we will be able to provide real-time response to all our GCC and Levant based outlets."

PWC Logistics' facilities include modern, temperature-controlled warehouses that are capable of meeting all required storage environments, including dry, air-conditioned, chilled and frozen. As a single-source service provider, PWC Logistics delivers customer-specific freight management solutions and utilizes an integrated IT system to provide control and visibility of shipments from origin to final destination.

Speaking about the agreement, Al-Jammaz said:
