"Smokers' Centre at Mall of the Emirates carries nearly 3000 SKU's of international brands including premium cigars from Cuba and the Dominican Republic, pipe tobacco and luxury smoking accessories from around the world. The wide choice that we offer customers has been one of the main contributors to our growth,"
said Ebad Ahmadi, Director - Tobacco Division -NTDE.
He added that the basis for the growth and success that the company presently enjoys, is the strength of the relationships the company formed over three decades ago with its suppliers, such as its enduring links with Imperial Tobacco.
"The Smokers' Centre 'exclusive tobacco shop' concept was launched in 1971 with the opening of our first outlet in Naser Square. There are now 32 centres and this number will only increase. A Smokers' Centre can be found in almost all big shopping malls and community centres like Spinneys," Ahmadi said.
NTDE's Tobacco Division, which oversees Smokers' Centres all over the emirates, today serves 5,000 establishments in the UAE, including supermarkets, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants and the Duty Free market. The division is also engaged in re-export to neighbouring countries.
