UAE raises interest rates

The UAE Central Bank has raised interest rates on Certificates of Deposit from 4.5 to 4.75% in line with the US Federal Reserve rate hike. The UAE dirham is pegged to the US dollar and moves its interest rates in close synchronicity with the greenback.
