The event plays a very important role in promoting and networking the varied trade activities of the Middle East market and will focus on agriculture, floriculture, poultry and aquaculture/fishing. Held from the 22nd to 25th April 2006 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre Dubai, U.A.E., the event is organized every year by the Mediac Communications & Exhibitions LLC.

The Fabulous Four 2006 comprises of four separate exhibitions namely Agri Business Expo. Middle East 2006, Middle East Flower & Garden Show 2006 - GARDENEX, Middle East Poultry Show 2006 and Middle East Aquaculture & Fishing Show 2006, held simultaneously at a single venue. The Fabulous Four 2006 occupies Hall 8, and features 173 booths with a total booth area of 1665 sq.m. This mega trade event promises to be one of sublime quality and to reconfirm its' reputation as a platform for the introduction of innovative products and services, it enjoys the active support of the Ministry of Environment & Water, United Arab Emirates, and support and participation by the Dubai Flower Centre and the Flower & Plant Industry Association of the United Arab Emirates.

The event will also feature specialized seminars on relevant topics that will have experts from the respective fields presenting their papers. It will also be followed by discussions. Mediac will conduct specialized symposiums that will keep you abreast of all new developments, these symposiums will be attended by experts from the respective fields, who will be discussing different topics from the profile of the show.

When it comes to statistics, The Fabulous Four 2006 is expected to show a phenomenal growth percentage over the previous edition. This year over 5000 visitors from across the globe representing 19 countries are expected to attend the event. Last year, The Fabulous Four featured 71 exhibitors from 16 countries and attracted over 3000 professional visitors from the GCC and other Gulf Countries, Europe, Iran, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka, all enthusiastic to develop their business in the very rewarding Middle Eastern market.

A brief overview of the four individual exhibitions that comprises The Fabulous Four 2006:


Agri Business Expo. Middle East 2006: Held successively for the 10th consecutive year, this fair is the leading and longest running agricultural show in the Middle East. The exhibition targets the fast growing Agriculture, Floriculture and Horticulture, Irrigation, Animal Husbandry, Poultry and Aquaculture industries in the region. The exhibition aims at promoting and networking the varied trade activities of the Middle East at all levels and to create awareness and environmentally friendly practices within the industry, the show will also have a special focus on pest control.

GARDENEX - Middle East Flower & Garden Show 2006:
Technology has revolutionized the Floriculture industry. Today hi-tech growing and distribution, post-harvest technologies, proper packaging, efficient cool-chain and excellent transportation are common. Hence flowers from the growers reach to the ultimate consumer in their freshest forms. Held for the 6th consecutive year, this unique exhibition attracts both commercial and domestic participants as well as visitors. Dubai Flower Centre, one of the world's most advanced floriculture centers, it is all set to transform the international floriculture industry in the years to come, aimed at strengthening and promoting the international fresh flower trade into and through the region. The Flower Centre personnel will be available at their stand during the exhibition to answer any queries. The fair goes beyond the essentials of floriculture and includes all other related services and products that support the industry and is a single venue to exchange business, latest scientific techniques & information as well as native know-how among traders, retailers, cultivators, enthusiasts and even the end users.

Middle East Poultry Show 2006: One of the most promising poultry shows in the region, this exhibition enjoys great importance as Middle East is a major consumer markets for poultry products. The show, which brings local as well as international dairy, poultry and animal feed companies, plays an important role in promoting the flourishing poultry industry in the region. This exhibition will feature a Scientific Symposiums conducted by Arab Poultry Breeders (OMMAT) from Saudi Arabia and (Middle East Agriculture Publishers) MEAP from Lebanon.

Middle East Aquaculture & Fishing Show 2006: Fish farming is big business in the Middle East and is one of the oldest traditional industries of the region. Hence it is an integral part of the Middle East culture and food habits. Statistics reveal that the local per capita consumption is more than 50 kilos per annum. The exhibition caters to the immense needs for fish farming and aims at tapping its potential in the Middle East. The European Union's (EU) approval of the UAE as a third country exporter of fisheries products and farmed fish will enhance the already excellent prospects of the local fish industry, it is indicated that a large chunk of farmed fish will now be destined for the EU markets as 60 per cent of the region's fisheries products consumption come from outside. The main thrust of the exhibition will be on hatcheries, fish farming and transportation, farming equipment and also on processing methods such as fish skinning and scaling machines, consultancy and diagnostic services, fish feed, insulted tubs and all fish related activities.
