Etisalat honored for participation in 5th Training and Employment Week, Al Ain

These statements came at a honoring ceremony held during the 5th Training and Employment Week, organized by UAE University and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Al Ain.

The event is being held between 2nd and 4th April under the patronage of HH Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Etisalat is participating as Gold Sponsor for this event, and has set up a stand at the venue.

HH Sheikh Nahyan stated that Etisalat has a long history of being associated with Nationalisation and has taken remarkable steps in this respect. "Etisalat's efforts and initiatives with regard to Emiratisation are a well-known fact in the country", he said.

Ali Bin Jerash, General Manager of Etisalat Al Ain Region, said:

Etisalat has played a key role in preparing local human resources; especially those specialized in technical and administrative fields. The Corporation has also been recognized with awards for its Emiratisation policy.

Training and Employment Week aims to provide the opportunity for job seekers to know about recruitment options and training programmes available. Etisalat is sponsoring this event for the 5th consecutive year.

Etisalat has supported many events and activities held in Al Ain City, such as the Al Ain Aerobatics Show 2006, Civil Defence Week, Traffic Week Exhibition, Engineering Day Exhibition (ENGEX), and the UAE University Technology Exhibition.
