Etisalat signs on as main sponsor of 25th Anniversary celebrations of General Secretariat of Municipalities

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat- has confirmed its participation as main sponsor of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the General Secretariat of Municipalities in the UAE.
A new book, 'Emirates... A New Epoch', will be released and distributed by the General Secretariat of Municipalities and will feature the major achievements of the municipalities in the UAE under the leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
This announcement was made at a press conference held by the General Secretariat of Municipalities at its offices in Dubai, which was attended by representatives of the organizers, sponsors and media.
Ahmed Bin Ali, Manager Corporate Communications, Etisalat said: "We congratulate the General Secretariat of Municipalities for their efforts to assure a healthy business and service environment in the UAE. We are pleased to join in the Secretariat's 25th Anniversary celebrations by sponsoring the ceremony and assisting in the release of the book 'Emirates... A New Epoch'."
"As a national Corporation, Etisalat has always lent its support to initiatives that contribute to the development of the society and raise the reputation of the UAE. Etisalat has not only set up a cutting-edge telecommunications infrastructure in the UAE, but has also contributed to the efforts of many other sectors. This commitment to our society translated into our sponsoring over 35 different social, sport, economic, tourism and education related events in the year 2005", he added.
