The World Health Day 2006

Under the patronage of His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, UAE Minister of Health, the Ministry of Health in cooperation with Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and Department of Health and Medical Services (DOHMS) will mark the World Health Day with a forum on health issues.

The forum will be held under the theme "Working together for Health: Developing the work force in the health sector", the event will take place today, the 4th of April.

The celebration will highlight a number of subjects including the needs of workers in the health sector and the importance of developing their skills.

His Excellency Al Qutami will deliver a speech on the importance of cooperation between workers in the health sector in order to build a strong work force. The event will be attended by a number of decision makers in this field.

The conference will be followed by workshops, which will focus on developing a survey to measure the satisfaction of workers in the health sector. The survey is being designed to understand the needs of workers in the health sector in order to develop their performance and achieve quality health services.
