Private sector eyes latest VoIP solutions for better efficiency, scalability

Companies highly reliant on phone communications can look forward to world-class standards of efficiency this year with the emergence of unprecedented digital telephony solutions based on VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology.

With the promise of seamless communication, superior sound clarity, integration of email and SMS, and real-time administration - the new solutions are being introduced to the local market by Nextech (Dubai), a value-added regional distributor specializing in VoIP and wireless technologies.

"The aim is to reduce costs by integrating telephony services into one data network via state-of-the-art VoIP, avoiding dual-network problems and providing a one-stop-shop platform of internet and wireless communications," says Mr. Hakam Kayed, territory manager at Nextech.

"We are introducing a new set of solutions based on what we call 'deregulated technologies', which are still not allowed in many surrounding countries, but have been given license by Jordan's Telecommunications Regulatory Commission," Kayed explains.

For dynamic businesses looking for reliable digital telephony, the latest VoIP solution is a must to ensure seamless voice communication across end-to-end users. "The solution is so developed that it is equipped with value components to ensure top quality sound communications via the VoIP Gateway (Quintum brand) the GSM Gateway (Orion brand), the IP PBX Solution (Dialexia Brand), and the Billing Platform (Sysmaster brand)," points Kayed.

"Nextech holds distributor agreements with vendors from the US, UK and Taiwan. We have recently signed a Service Partner Agreement with Sysmaster, a world developer of VoIP billing systems. Our added value lies in bundling all these products to get total solutions (VoIP & Wireless)," says Mr. Basel Khalid, sales manager at Nextech. "We have managed several successful installations in the Middle East and African markets for Licensed ITSP's."

Over the past five years, Nextech has been a key player in VoIP and Wireless solutions in the Middle East, with an excellent reputation in the Jordanian market. "Awareness is an integral part of our marketing strategy as a high-end solution provider, we constantly offer our clients and members of the public seminars on the value of our services and products, the last of which was held at the Four Seasons this month," adds Kayed.

The new VoIP solution is part of the creation of a well-designed communications infrastructure in the aim of developing what are termed "Wider Area Networks (WAN)" of connections across different business environments. With this technological perspective, the company seeks to provide total solutions in integrated packages to meet a variety of WAN requirements.

VoIP's main users include Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), as well as banks, insurance firms, and hotels. The latest technology can be utilized as well in and between government institutions, schools, universities and hospitals where voice clarity and speed is vital to ensure effective communications and real-time decision making.
