In his new role, Samargya will work with CA's Human Resources unit and outside business partners to develop strategic learning opportunities at CA and deliver targeted and measurable training to customers, partners and employees. Samargya will drive efficiency and effectiveness of all training and development initiatives by centralizing and leveraging CA's program management, vendor management, and content and learning management. Additionally, Samargya will oversee CA University and continue to build best practices in the Company's approach to IT business training.
Samargya joins CA from Siebel Systems, Inc., where he served most recently as group vice president, Siebel University overseeing global customer technical training, partner technical training and certification, end user training, change management/user adoption services and employee training worldwide. Additionally, Samargya created a variety of partner-specific training programs designed to enable Siebel partners to drive measurable business results for Siebel customers.
Prior to Siebel, Samargya was a vice president at Sybase, Inc., where he served as general manager for worldwide customer and partner technical training and certification. He also held senior positions at McGraw-Hill Education and Price Waterhouse. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
