Al Ateyya discusses conference for exploring the investment opportunities in Yemen with GOIC

His Excellency, Mr. Abdelrahman Bin Hamad Al Ateyya, GCC Secretary General visited GOIC today accompanied by Mr. Said Al Merri, Public Relations Manager in H.E. office, where he met His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Khalil Al Mutawa, GOIC Secretary General.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Lulwa Al Misned, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Research & Investment Promotion and H.E. Mr. Ahmed Hassan Dhaif, Assistant Secretary General for Information Technology and a number of GOIC experts.

During the meeting many issues were discussed including holding a conference expected in the coming November in the city of Adan to explore the investment opportunities in the Republic of Yemen. It was also agreed on conducting a number of coordination meetings so as to finalize the requirements of the subject conference.

H.E. GCC Secretary General commended the crucial role GOIC plays in the development of the region as well as its efforts in developing the industrial sector in GCC member states further to its continuous cooperation with the Secretariat General of GCC.
