TECOM Investments partners with e-TQM College to promote quality management

The MoU was signed by Abdullatif Al Mulla, Deputy CEO of TECOM Investments and Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Vice President of e-TQM College.

Under the terms of the MoU, both organizations will launch a joint programme to disseminate excellence-related knowledge and also sponsor various activities. The two parties will also work together to create forums locally and internationally to exchange ideas and experiences on quality management and excellence.

"TECOM is keen to collaborate with leading quality management institutions like e-TQM College to advance our understanding as well as promote awareness of excellence best practices," said Abdullatif Al Mulla, Deputy CEO of TECOM Investments.

"Our partnership with e-TQM College will contribute to our development, especially since quality is one of our main focuses this year."

"We hope to pass on the benefits of our partnership with TECOM to other organisations in the region as well by helping them better understand the implications of organizational efficiency and quality as a key differentiator on competitiveness," he added.

The joint programme will include international study tours for TECOM and e-TQM College executives to learn various implementations of the Business Excellence Model in global organisations. e-TQM College will closely work with TECOM to provide its officials with learning opportunities in quality management.

TECOM recently sponsored e-TQM College's 'Fourth Annual Mega Week 2006' that featured a host of events including the First Middle East Quality Association Symposium and a conference on 'Organizational Excellence through Six Sigma Approach'. It also sponsored the third Pan Arab Media Quality Awards 2006, which saw the announcement of the "Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award" and the third "Pan Arab Media Quality Award".
