More than 180 guests showed up to wish the airline well, as it enters its fifth year of operations.
Speaking at the event, Felix Rodel, Area Manager Middle East & Africa, SWISS, said: "2006 is going to be a very exciting year for us. We have our cooperation with Lufthansa firmly in place and we have just formally joined the Star Alliance. Things are looking great for Switzerland's flag carrier."
SWISS sees the UAE, as one of its most successful destinations, with consistenly strong performance, both for inbound tourists, and UAE residents travelling to Switzerland.
During the event Mr. Rodel thanked his team for their hard work, and the guests for their unwavering support of the airline.
