IEA says no oil shortage

The International Energy Agency MD Claude Mandil told reporters yesterday that there was no shortage of oil in world markets. He said that gasoline stocks in the US are higher than a five year average, and repeated that the IEA would coordinate the release of stocks in the case of political disruption to supply but not to keep prices down.
