Diabetes, passive smoking link

Passive smoking has been linked with a slightly higher risk of diabetes, according to a 15-year US study of 4,572 people, reported the BBC News. The study published by the British Medical Journal said smoke toxins could affect the pancreas, which makes the blood sugar regulator insulin. The GCC States have among the world's highest rates of diabetes.
