Storming the desert in the 2006 HUMMER H3

The HUMMER H3, the latest addition to the iconic HUMMER family performed outstandingly at an adventurous Ride and Drive Event which took place at Jebel Faya area, between Dubai and Sharjah.
The H3 Ride and Drive got underway from the Movenpick Hotel in Bur Dubai. Led by a team of professional drivers, guests got the chance to experience the H3 as it negotiated a range of terrains, and enjoyed self driving of the H3 on a soft driving course . To turn up the heat a few notches, the H3 was then put through its paces on extreme terrain of 65 degree angle drops, demonstrating the unbeatable off-road capability of the H3.

The iconic H3 packs all of the uncompromising HUMMER style and capability into its midsize dimensions. Roughly the same length as a midsize family sedan, H3 comfortably navigates city traffic and delivers HUMMER's trademark incredible crawling and climbing capability.

The H3 encompasses a 3.5 litre 5-cylinder engine and comes equipped with 220 horsepower and 225lbs-feet of torque. In addition to its uncompromising off-road capabilities, the H3 also provides all of the refinement, comfort and convenience required for enjoyable on-road driving. It offers premium options such as a large electric sliding sunroof, a DVD-based radio and numerous customized accessories.
Personalisation is the key to the HUMMER lifestyle and the H3 offers endless possibilities for this, offering accessories such as roof/grille mounted off-road lights, additional underbody protection, hard cargo carriers and roof mounted carriers to carry bikes, snowboards, surfboards and other equipment to suit your lifestyle needs. In 2003, HUMMER introduced H2, reflecting an evolution of the brand and making HUMMER more accessible to a wider civilian audience. The HUMMER H2 SUT is an evolution of the H2 which adds even more flexibility for cargo requirements.
The HUMMER H3, a more compact model, arrived to the Middle East in the latter half of 2005 as a 2006 model year.
