Kamran Siddiqi, General Manager Visa International Middle East, commended National Bank of Abu Dhabi for being the first Visa member bank in the UAE to offer the Visa Money Transfer solution. "There is a considerable outflow of foreign remittances from across the GCC to developing countries with the U.A.E being the second largest source of transfers after Saudi Arabia."

The new service is quick, convenient and above all secure. The service will go live on NBAD's website today.

"NBAD has a strong technology platform and its infrastructure like e-payments is just an example of NBAD's commitment to implementing technology in day-to-day banking,"

added Deemas.
