$10bn Oman five-year plan

Oman plans to invest $10bn over the next five years developing its oil and gas sector, Oil Minister Mohammad bin Hamad bin Saif Al Rumhy told journalists yesterday, reported Reuters. He said by 2011 oil production would rise from 780,000 bpd to 900,000 bpd and gas output would double to 70-80m cubic metres a day.
