Draft press law opposition

The Bahrain Journalists Association has welcomed the pledge by the Council of Representatives Speaker Khalifa Al Dahrani to resist a draft press law that mandates prison sentences for journalists, said a statement yesterday. He said the law was not in line with the other reforms taking place in Bahrain.
