UAE is Chair of Arab Private Higher Education Association

The Arab Private Higher Education Association, which consists of 40 Higher educational institutions and universities, recently re-elected the UAE (represented by Dr Saeed Abdullah Salman, President of AUST Network) as Chairman of the Association.

The re-election of Dr Saeed Salman comes as an appreciation of the great strides the UAE has achieved in terms of higher education in the Arab world. It is also an appreciation of the positive role that AUST has played in establishing, developing, and promoting the Arab Private Higher Education Association.
Dr Saeed Salman, the Chairman of the Association, said, " The continuous support of the UAE government particularly the education concerned authorities has helped AUST Network to achieve its educational mission and go beyond borders to support Arab educational institutions, thanks to the UAE in its endeavors to develop education."
"We at AUST Network have done our best during the last two decades to provide the labour markets in the UAE and the Arab world with many competent and skillful graduates."
"We shall spare no effort in helping the Arab Higher Education Association to achieve its objectives. Together with our Arab friends, we will make it more effective by increasing its membership and making sure that the association's decisions are implemented," added Dr Salman.

"Our objective is to link our tasks with other world educational organizations to design educational components that suit our traditions".
Members of the Association include Dr Saeed Abdullah Salman, Chairman, Dr Ameen Mahmoud, the Jordanian Secretary General, Mr. Sultan Al Bousaeedi of Oman, Dr Moihamnmed Rafat of Egypt, Ali Al Garm of Jordan, Dr Munzir Salah of Palestine, and Dr Khalid Al Karki.
