Seven Seas has become a first tier partner for the full range of IBM's PC products in the UAE. "We are very pleased to be able to announce this key move, which strengthens our offering to enterprise organisations and falls in line with our focus on delivering strong solutions alongside effective services," says Mehboob Hamza, Managing Director of Seven Seas.

"Customers are looking for best-of-breed technology combined with best-of-breed service," says Sameh Farid, Regional Manager, IBM Personal Computer Division (PCD) Middle East. "This is what IBM is looking to deliver with all of our business partners and I am sure that the Seven Seas team will work very effectively with the IBM PCD team to deliver this proposition to organisations of all sizes in the UAE."

The move increases Seven Seas' focus on the provision of services to its customers, a process that the company has been pushing hard on for the past 18 months. "We are following in IBM's footsteps, I suppose," says Hamza: "The move to focus on consulting, services and solutions is a necessary one for Seven Seas, as indeed it is for other companies in the regional market as the global marketplace moves to meet changing patterns of demand."
