The first raffle draw took place yesterday and the lucky winners have been informed. Prizes have so far included gift vouchers for various retail outlets within the Mall including jewellery, furniture, optical and clothing stores. The highlight of today's draw was of course the first brand new Hummer H3 to be raffled off that went to one very lucky Ibn Battuta Mall shopper! Additional winners will be drawn each Monday in April with a total of four Hummer H3s being given away within the Mall's first birthday month.
Colin Fenton, Mall Manager, Ibn Battuta Mall, said:
"We wanted to celebrate our first birthday with the people that are most important to us, our customers, so we decided to organise a Spend & Win promotion throughout the month of April that will reward them for coming to visit us. The Spend & Win promotion is one aspect of our birthday celebrations and the most talked about, as four lucky winners will be driving away with a brand new Hummer H3 or one of the hundreds of retailer prizes. We will also be holding other activities throughout the month so watch this space."

Ibn Battuta Mall recently launched the Iconic Inventions Exhibition, a celebration of 1000 years of Muslim inventions. The exhibition is a permanent fixture and the exhibits can be viewed by the public in various locations throughout the Mall.
Ibn Battuta Mall is open Saturday to Tuesday 10am to 10pm and Wednesday to Friday 10am to 12midnight.
