The loan facility is being offered by the Bank in order to provide clients with new financing options in reward for their investment in Al Hayrat. For every BD1,000 invested in Al Hayrat, clients will be eligible to obtain a loan equal to their investment.
This year's BBK's loan offer is distinctly attractive to clients, as it provides 100% equivalence instead of a discounted amount. The lending facility also offers highly competitive interest rates to clients.
This new service further enhances Al Hayrat's value proposition, providing clients with additional borrowing capacity while continuing to maintain their Al Hayrat investment and being eligible for the monthly draws which offer a total amount of approximately USD 1.2 million in cash prizes in 2006.
Effective immediately, Al Hayrat clients can apply for the loan by visiting any BBK branch and presenting two valid IDs to process their loan applications. Clients must be participants in the Al Hayrat savings program in order to be eligible for the loan.
Jamal Hijris, AGM Retail Banking- BBK, said "BBK has designed this offer in a unique way which provides clients with greater value and flexibility, in line with their financial requirements.
The Al Hayrat 2006 scheme has been designed to offer significant rewards to clients, with huge cash prizes to be won. This new Al Hayrat loan option further enhances our line of products and is a new step in ensuring responsiveness to the growing lifestyle demands of our clients.
Clients who do not have an existing Al Hayrat account, either BBK clients or otherwise, can open a new account by depositing a minimum of BD50, and will not be bound by a lock-in period so will be free to withdraw their amount at any time with no penalty.
The prize scheme allows clients from all over Bahrain the opportunity to win cash prizes. Monthly prizes vary each month, with several prizes of each cash category available.
Over the course of 2006, there will be a total of 79 lucky winners who will enjoy the Al Hayrat prizes.
