Programme announced for supply chain forum

The Institute for International Research (IIR) Middle East has announced the details of the eagerly awaited programme for Supply Chain Management Forum 2006.

The five day global conference is taking place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Deira, Dubai from 24 - 28 June 2006 and will attract supply chain logistics professionals from across the GCC.

This enormously popular event features top regional and international speakers from the leading logistics and supply chain companies.

Supply Chain Management Forum is enormously well respected in the region and the 2006 forum follows on from the success of 2005. This year's programme is more extensive than ever before with three industry specific streamed sessions devoted to education and international best practice as well as seven innovative workshops designed to enhance participants supply chain skills.

Issues and emerging trends to be explored at the forum include Free trade and WTO, Warehousing and inventory excellence, Collaboration strategies, RFID

The informative workshops cover the pressing issues including purchasing strategies, securing large contracts, strategic sourcing, design components for the prefect warehouse, optimising the supply chain, new technologies and fleet management.
