Al Jazeera renounces violence

The English language TV station Al Jazeera International, which has delayed its launch to this autumn, will not show footage of dead and dying people like its Arabic counterpart, MD Nigel Parsons told The Evening Standard. He said the issue of graphic images is largely cultural.
