Suzuki Barayan unveils the all new flagship Boulevard cruiser M109R and the all-new Suzuki QuadRacer LT-R450

Suzuki Barayan, exclusive dealers of Suzuki Motorcycles in Saudi Arabia, has unveiled the newest, most highly anticipated addition to its Boulevard cruiser line - the 2006 M109R and the all-new Suzuki QuadRacer LT-R450.

The new cruiser is the ultimate in high performance with Suzuki's race-proven technology. It has awesome power, unique styling and plenty of well-deserved bragging rights.

"We're very proud to introduce this new flagship to the '06 Suzuki Boulevard lineup," said Omar Barayan, Managing Director of Suzuki Barayan.

"The all-new M109R is our most powerful cruiser yet and marks our ongoing commitment to the new Boulevard line."

The heart of the M109R is an all-new 109-cubic-inch, liquid-cooled, V-twin powerplant with dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder. The engine makes massive torque - from idle all the way up to redline - for an exhilarating riding experience.

At the same time, its championship-winning GSX-R-derived electronic fuel injection makes for improved throttle response and a smooth ride all around. It's designed to satisfy those owners whose current power cruisers aren't powerful enough. With a beefy steel frame, the bike's chassis can handle all the power and torque of the M109R V-twin engine while also providing a comfortable riding position.

The wheelbase measures 67.5 inches and the seat height is a low 27.6 inches, allowing riders to feel more confident at slow speeds and find it easier to touch their feet to the ground.

The chassis also is designed for agility and ease of use. From the inverted front fork all the way back to the link-type rear suspension setup, the chassis is built to perform with controlled handling at any speed. And with radial-mount front brakes, the rider can be confident in the ability to control speed, too.

Designed with an aggressive look, the M109R defines a new generation for Suzuki cruising machines. From the GSX-R-inspired front brakes to the long, low fuel tank, the M109R is decked out in deep, rich paint that's complemented by mirror-like chrome. Best of all, the meaty 240mm rear tire makes a statement whether you're on the bike, or behind it.

Chrome slash-cut mufflers complete the fashionably sleek look of the M109R. And they're engineered to produce a raucous sound that will leave you remembered.

Talking about the all-new Suzuki QuadRacer LT-R450, Barayan said, "The off-road racing world is about to get shaken up big time. By introducing the LT-R450, riders will enjoy an aggressive, low and wide stance and stunning styling that lets everybody know it's engineered to provide race-winning performance right off the dealer's floor."

With a fuel-injected 450cc four-stroke powerplant based on the championship-winning Suzuki RM-Z450, the QuadRacer LT-R450 rewards you with blazing acceleration out of corners, matched by a flat-out sensational top-end performance. It's also designed to handle the nastiest tracks and come back for more. It has a technically advanced chassis and responsive, long-travel suspension front and rear, so you can choose you line and go for it.

There's even more good news. The QuadRacer LT-R450 is not only race-ready, it's also designed to shatter the myth that high performance has to be high priced.

"All new four-stroke, single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid cooled, DOHC. Four valve engine designed to be compact, lightweight and provide incredible performance. Innovative Suzuki Advanced Sump System allows the engine mass and crankshaft to be positioned close to the ground for a low center of gravity and also keeping the engine as short as possible," He said.

The new styling highlights the high performance nature of the QuadRacer R450. The LT-R450 is styled with a low and wide profile to further emphasize the lightweight performance intent of the machine.

Talking about after sale services, Barayan said, "Although Suzuki Barayan started from Jeddah, we saw that it's necessary to build branches for the company in other cities so that we can offer after-sale services, and that is because of our belief that the relationship with the customer should not end at the ownership but should continue to achieve customer satisfaction. Therefore branches were build in Riyadh and Dammam and other branches in Jeddah city, besides the specialized work shops operated by trained, qualified technicians."
He said Suzuki Barayan is a part of Saudi society, always participating in the year's festivals and motor sport events. "Suzuki Barayan has a strong relationship with the youth, with whom we share the same interests and concerns. Our relation with Suzuki riders includes participation in all the races, social and riding programs and periodical adventures to neighboring cities."

Commenting on common fears that motorcycles and riders spell trouble, Barayan said, "We absolutely refute such a stereotype."

He added, "There are some exceptional cases but those do not necessarily mean that all are the same. Motorcycles are one of the important means of transportation in our current time due to their ability to work in the hardest circumstances and spaces. They are also the main ingredients of one of the world's exciting motor sports, Motor GP races."

He said motor-bikers need the support they deserve. "I believe that instead of combating them, we should encourage and support them. If they get the guidance and the training they deserve, we could breed Saudi Motor Sports champions."
