eCompany launches US curriculum courses on LearnOnline@schools eLearning portal

eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse business unit that provides Internet services and ICT solutions today announced the launch of US curriculum courses on its LearnOnline@Schools portal.

The US curriculum consists of language arts, mathematics and science, delivered in the english language. It caters to students from Kindergarten up to grade 8. Parents and teachers can take advantage of this new library to enrich their children's learning experience.

According to Abdulla Hashim, Assistant General Manager, eCompany, "The UAE is among the earliest adapter of e-Learning in the Arab World on both academic and corporate level. The e-Learning market in the UAE is expected to grow to reach US$60 million as per different research reports. This is due to the ICT advancement in the UAE and the different government initiatives that made the UAE move from delivering e-Learning solution to providing content."

"Launching of this online US curriculum content is part of the UAE e-Learning strategy to help all the stakeholders i.e students, teachers, schools and parents alike in order to make learning an enjoyable and interesting experience. The new US curriculum courses have been introduced in collaboration with CompassLearning®, an innovative, research-based educational technology corporation committed to working with educators and parents to improve the academic achievement and performance of all PreK-12 students.
