- PRESS RELEASE
Royal Philips Electronics' MR and CT road show is scheduled to go on tour in Dubai, Jeddah, Teheran, Kuwait, Beirut and Amman from April 10 to April 26, 2006
Besides sharing clinical experiences, participants can learn from peers, and optimize their clinical results.
All hospital staff is well aware of the need to create a clinical environment that responds to the rapidly changing health care landscape. The continuous innovation and use of new technology, the drive for better operational efficiency while maintaining the same quality is causing headaches to all involved. Philips Medical Systems has long provided the equipment and technologies that are on the cutting-edge of the healthcare market. The most recent example is MR with IQ. This tool offers SmartExam which integrates the planning, scanning, and processing for an entire MR exam. It ensures operator-independent, reproducible scans. Apart from consistent clinical results, this means faster, simpler exams and increased efficiency.
This road show will include representatives from Philips Medical Systems reflecting our focus and support for the region. The core content is, in addition, given by clinical speakers. They will use the experience from their own practices to show clinical benefits of latest developments.
Walter van Kuijen, general manager of Multi Country Region of Philips Medical Systems, is pleased to see that the local medical community is eager to learn from each other. "We see this as an excellent opportunity to connect to the real users of digital imaging equipment in this region and to listen to their experience based remarks in the clinical area. Users often cannot afford the time or costs to travel to far-away places to learn about the latest advances in CT or MR. These roadshows bring the information just a little closer to them."
