Now with their mobile phone, they can simply send an SMS with the word or sentence they want translated, and receive not only the translation but also a pronunciation guide. Etisalat is very happy to empower its customers with such a service."
Etisalat had earlier launched the 'Tarjim' service which enabled customers to translate words between Arabic and English, and has now introduced 'Tahaddath' which can translate words and sentences and even provide a pronunciation guide. Messages of 160 characters in English and 70 characters in Arabic will be considered as one message, and each message is charged at 60 Fils. The customer simply needs to type in the word or sentence that is to be translated and send it to 1002, and the translation and pronunciation guide will be received by SMS to the mobile phone.
