Etisalat Q1 profit $364m, up 31%

Etisalat has announced a 31% rise in Q1 profits to $364m. Mobile subscribers now number 4.76m, a penetration rate of over 100 per cent. Internet subscribers, including broad band connections, reached 570,000, a record growth of 31%. Fixed lines subscribers total 1.25m, up by 4% year-on-year.
