  • PRESS RELEASE

Dubai Properties is participating for the first time in the UAE Career Fair 2006, and will be offering job opportunities for UAE nationals in its organization.

The exhibition is being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Center from 23-25 April, 2006, and the Dubai Properties stand is L-4.

Through their participation in the UAE Career Fair, Dubai Properties will be highlighting job opportunities in sales and marketing, administration and engineering departments, as well as in other departments in the company.

Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties, commented on his company's participation in the UAE Career Fair:
"We believe in encouraging our human resources as it is the foundation of our work and our success. We hope, through our participation in this fair, to introduce new job opportunities in the company for UAE nationals, and also to attract nationals as we believe that UAE national youths are the main foundation of the national economy and of the real development."

Dubai Properties currently contributes AED 50 million annually towards the Kawader program, which oversees the development and education of high-school graduates through seminars and other training programs. The company also participates in the National Development program in form of community work.

Al Dabal added: "We at Dubai Properties believe that nationalization is a strategic option that comes at the top of our priority list as well as an important company mission. We realize the importance of investing in national human resources, first as a contribution towards preparing qualified nationals that are able to continue the growth and development of the nation in general and of the property sector in particular; and second in the increase in nationalization percentages."

Dubai Properties offers remarkable opportunities for UAE nationals who are willing to join a professional working environment through two specific programs. The first, Al Tatwer, offers job opportunities for Diploma graduates during a six-month HR development program. The aim of the program is to train secondary school leavers to obtain reasonable knowledge and skills to qualify for jobs.

The second national development program is Al Etqan, which is a one-year intensive training regime for Higher Diploma and Bachelor degree graduates. Al Etqan aims to integrate fresh graduates into the company through a series of intensive seminars and courses that prepare nationals for the professional career.

It is worth mentioning that the UAE Career Fair is one of the most important career exhibitions, providing UAE nationals work opportunities in a professional and world-class environment in order to meet the needs of the market. A number of workshops and seminars will be organized during the exhibition, focusing on students, fresh graduates and people looking for job opportunities in order to address a number of issues related to nationalization.
