du takes part in Careers UAE 2006

After receiving more than 15,000 applications through its website, du - the HR department of du, UAE's new telecommunications provider, is preparing for another surge of applicants.

Careers UAE 2006 is the country's largest and most comprehensive recruitment, education and training platform that is designed to encourage the partnership between industry and education in promoting Emiratisation in the UAE. The annual event is set to take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, from 23-25 April 2006.

In a comment about du's participation in UAE Careers 2006, Mr. Osman Sultan - du CEO said: 'We intend to fully utilize this opportunity to communicate with job seekers. What we want all du applicants to know most of all is that we are about providing our customers with a better experience. To do that, we need to recruit the best and the most enthusiastic team. We are about people with talent and a smile; people who relate to people; and people who love a challenge and being part of a team.'

du will occupy stand number T5 located in hall 6 and will receive applications from 10:00 am to 08:00 pm during the 3 day event. Applicants are advised to bring along a hard copy of their CV's.
