Emirates Aviation College attracts high fliers at GETEX

Emirates Aviation College - Aerospace & Academic Studies, attracted large numbers of young students to its stand at the recent Gulf Educational & Training Exhibition in Dubai.

The college's faculty members were on hand to help the steady stream of visitors in their queries on the various degree and diploma courses on offer.

"I am delighted with the positive response we received from young people and their parents for our courses for the next academic year,"

said Mohammed Al Budoor, Vice President of the Emirates Aviation College's Aerospace & Academic Studies wing.

"They were mainly keen to know about the aeronautical and aerospace engineering courses and the air transport management programmes, in addition to the travel and tourism and business studies programmes, as they are the skills required for careers within the aviation industry in the UAE."

The four-year degree courses in Aeronautical Engineering, Air Transport Management and Tourism management are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research.

Also available are vocational programmes leading to diplomas in Aerospace Engineering, Business Management, Travel & Tourism Management and Electronic & Computer Engineering.

The Emirates Aviation College - Aerospace and Academic Studies, offers a range of career programmes tailored to meet the personnel requirements of the aerospace, travel & tourism and business management industries.

Degree Programmes
The college offers three bachelor degree programmes in Aeronautical Engineering, Air Transport Management, and Tourism Management.
Full Masters degree programmes are also available to aviation professionals. The MSc. programmes in Air Transport Management and Air Safety Management are specifically for pilots, air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance engineers and air defence services who plan to further their careers within the industry.

The Centre of Excellence & Industrial Research
The centre recognises the importance of providing a sound vocational education structure based on the needs of industry in the UAE, the region and beyond. Students taking this route following completion of high school or secondary education can follow a unique path of 'learning by doing', acquiring both knowledge and skills that allow them to form a greater understanding of the needs and practices of the work-place environment.
