Hedge fund rumours untrue

Market rumours that a number of hedge funds might be in trouble after margin calls on long commodities futures are untrue, reported Reuters citing market sources. Futures are traded on margin which means that funds can be quickly caught out if they put money on the reverse trend to what actually happens.
