Dubai-based Emphor enters in to strategic alliance with Germany's Sam Electronics

The Gulf Maritime Exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah from April 24-26, 2006, will be utilised by the regional maritime industry for making several important announcements.

One such significant announcement will be that by Dubai-based Emphor, a company recently appointed as a regional sales partner by Germany's Sam Electronics. The alliance will be formally announced at the Gulf Maritime Exhibition. Emphor hopes to reach out to a large number of focused trade visitors during the show and apprise them of the benefits that the regional maritime industry will derive due to this strategic tie-up.

Sam Electronics has been in the business of maritime technology for over 100 years and has a turnover of Euro 200 million. The company is a major manufacturer of turnkey equipment and installations offering special capabilities in design and development of specific maritime equipment and technologies. These include power generation/distribution- management systems including shaft alternators, advanced diesel electric propulsion systems, automated monitoring and control systems, nav-aids, specifically configured Integrated Bridge Systems, Communication Technology Solutions as well as safety and security systems.

Emphor has been involved in the supply of equipment to some of the most high profile mega yachts built in the UAE in recent times and have operations covering the entire GCC region.
