Francois said that Majid Al Futtaim Group was operating in various industries such as retail, properties, hospitality, leisure and entertainment, and that the varied recruitment needs of the group offered a wide range of jobs and employment opportunities for young UAE nationals.
"We are expanding and, as market leaders in various industries, we have a need to recruit talented UAE nationals whether it is in our shopping malls such as Mall of the Emirates or leisure and entertainment business such as Ski Dubai, Cinestar Cinemas and Magic Planet or hypermarkets such as the Carrefour chain across the Middle East. We have a constant need for recruiting qualified and suitable young recruits,"
Francois added.
According to Francois, this year marks the fourth consecutive year that Majid Al Futtaim Group takes an active role in the UAE Career Fair as the event represents a good opportunity to reach the pool of talent the Group needs to meet its diverse recruitment requirements.
"This is a very important event since it gives us the opportunity to enhance our emiratisation drive and recruit, train and retain a qualified pool of local talent that would contribute towards the progress of the company and its success," he explained
Francois noted that previously the UAE Career Fair allowed the Group to meet its recruitment drive and this year will be no exception with more qualified graduates coming into the employment market in the UAE.
The UAE Career Fair is being held at Dubai International Exhibition & Convention Centre, from Aril 23rd to 25th at Hall 6 from 10 am to 8pm.
