Etisalat participates in the 6th Training & Employment Exhibition

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat- is participating in the sixth Training and Employment Exhibition.

The exhibition is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in the Dubai World Trade Centre from 23rd to 25th of April 2006.

Etisalat aims to feature opportunities available in the Corporation and its business units and subsidiaries such as eCompany and E-Vision, as the Corporation enjoys the reputation of an employer of choice for job seekers.

Etisalat has attracted local talent and trained them to occupy both technical and administrative jobs. This practice has placed Etisalat on the top of the list of local and regional organizations in the field of employment, and has also brought it local and regional recognition for its contributions and commitment.

Abdul Aziz Al Sawaleh, Executive Vice President - HR, Etisalat said:

"We are pleased to participate in this exhibition for the fifth time in a row. Etisalat has been a pioneer and an award-winner for its Emiratization initiatives, which we see as one of our key employment strategies."


He also stated that over 4500 UAE Nationals are employed by the Corporation. Etisalat continues to attract more UAE Nationals, especially in the fields of IT, Sales and Marketing, Legal Affairs, and all other technical and administrative fields. Etisalat has also launched a website (www.etisalat-careers.ae) to focus only on employment opportunities within the Corporation.

Etisalat has always been one of the most reputed organizations in the fields of professional training through its specialized business units such as Etisalat University College, which offers undergraduate and graduate Engineering courses, and Etisalat Academy, which provides a training environment and specialized programmes for Etisalat, Government and private sectors employees both within and outside the UAE.
