50% bigger than last year, PALME 2006, the region's only exhibition of professional sound, light, music, audio visual and systems integration technologies is the largest event of its kind ever staged in the region, and has already attracted a very high number of visitors.
'This year's event features over 200 stands, with 600 exhibiting companies represented, and more international manufacturers than ever before,' said Darren Brechin, Exhibitions Director, Entertainment & Installation Technology Group, IIR Exhibitions. 'The exhibition is now one of the leading events of its kind anywhere in the world, and visitors will be able to meet the leaders from the global industry, including the most innovative companies from Europe, the USA and Far East.'
The three dedicated vertical shows within PALME - Install, Event 360 and MUSAC, all of which have been received highly positively by the industry, have also doubled in size, and the organisers have introduced many innovative new features to increase their value to visitors.
Install, focuses on audio visual installation and integration technologies and applications for residential and commercial projects, Event 360 (supported this year by DTCM) is specifically designed to help the extensive regional event industry attain world class quality levels, whilst MUSAC is dedicated to the musical instrument and accessories market.
'There are many special new features which we have introduced for 2006, including the Dubai Venue Pavilion at Event 360 and the UK Music Pavilion,' said Brechin. 'These give visitors the first ever opportunity to meet the operators responsible for Dubai's incredibly diverse range of venues plus world renowned brands from the UK music industry, face to face.'
PALME 2006 runs from April 23-25, 2006 in Halls 1, 2 & 3 of Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the size and quality of the event reinforces its international credentials.
