QFCA names board

The Qatar Financial Centre Authority has announced the appointment of its Board of Directors. The Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Economy and Commerce, Yousef Kamal, is the Chairman of the QFCA and Stuart Pearce is the CEO and Director General. Six other board members have been appointed including Chris Gibson-Smith, the Chairman of the London Stock Exchange, and Nemir Kirdar, the President of Investcorp. The first board meeting takes place in Doha on May 2.
